Now this gorgeous boy is our Goose, who is the biggest and softest goofball around. He is full of character and charm you, can’t help but fall in love with him.
Goose is still only a youngster–going through his teenage moments in kennels has been a challenge but honestly, he is so worth it.He is a real delight but does ideally need a bully/large breed savvy owner, who are willing to spend time training and giving Goose the consistency, as well as much needed boundaries. He is such a typical bull breed who lovers everyone and everything he meets, including the vets!He loves to be up close and personal with you and will climb up onto your knee for fusses, cuddles and kisses! He has been like this from day one,he never stopped being a happy little soul.
Goose picks up training well and is super smart-we think he would flourish further with more training, to keep his brain engaged. He is brilliant in the house and loves his crate, for naps and breaks. He can still forget himself and at times, act like a little toddler and have the odd tantrum when he doesn’t get his way, but this is why we are looking for a family, that can help support him through this and are happy to give him the time he needs. These episodes tend to happen more when he is bored, lacking structure or consistency and left to his own devices for too long.
While here Goose has made lots of dog friends and will often mimic their behaviours well, but he does rather enjoy a good play session. So, think that a tolerant but playful dog may be could for Goose this will be of course pending meets to make sure everyone is happy. We think Goose could live with large dog savvy, older teens that understand and are used to bouncy dogs, but this will again be pending successful meet and greets to ensure everyone is comfy.
Goose is looking for a home where his new family, are happy to support him with the above, and who can show this boy that his forever family is out there. In return he will love you unconditionally!
I know how to sit (and lots of commands too!)
I can be left alone for short periods

This amazing , young lady is Princess! In her short life this girl has been through so much – she was left abandoned, tied up, all alone with no one to care for her – suffering from a painful eye condition. Thankfully her eye is all sorted and she is ready to find her forever home.
Once she is your friend, boy is she your friend!! This girl is super friendly, she adores to be with you and loves going on adventures. She will climb up onto your knee for all the cuddles and kisses! Princess doesn’t know what personal space is, but she loves you with all her being and you can’t ask for more!!
With all this girl has been through, trusting humans completely, can be a struggle but this girl try’s her hardest to see the best in us all. When she becomes a little unsure or overwhelmed by new people in some settings, she will simply try to avoid and get herself away to where she feels comfortable again. A lot of our work with this girl is confidence building – showing her that the world can be a fun and loving place -she just hasn’t had the right chances yet. When she does become nervous or unsure we just hang about and help her work through it in her own time, with no pressure just lots of yummy rewards.
Given Princess nervous but oh so loving nature we feel she will be best suited to a family with older teens who are confident around goofy, bouncy dogs, especially when she settles. We will of course do meets to make sure everyone is comfortable. They must also have had some experience with nervous large, guardian breed dogs.
While here Princess has made several dog friends, so again she could possibly live with another dog, but she can be quite full on with her play. So, any dog must be, confident, able to cope with Princess but also tell her off when needed and show her the way. It will of course all be pending successful meet and greets.
Any new family must be willing to continue Princess training and even potentially take her to classes, as well as be ok with young bouncy dogs. Her new family should also have researched Cane Corso or similar guardian breed ownership.
I can't be left alone
You`ll need to take me to training classes
I`d prefer not to live with a cat

Now this lovely boy is Biscuit. We are looking for a foster to adopt home for Biscuit. This is so we help support both him and his new family in the transition from kennels to home.
Biscuit is an amazing boy, with so much love to give – he loves a cuddle and to just be with you. Sadly he has found himself in rescue as an older pooch who hasn’t spent a lot if anytime in a house. He now loves his creature comforts and people interactions but we desperately need to place him in a home so he can begin to experience all the things he has previously missed out on.
Biscuit is toy obsessed and sadly this has resulted in him eating some of his toys and getting himself into medical bother, but he fully recovered and thanks to some much-needed training his impulse control is getting better – although this is likely to be an ongoing issue.
His ideal home needs.
Minimal time left 1-2 hours max while he settles
A secure garden – 5ft fence
No other pets – although he does love other dogs out and about – when walking but we fell in the home now he will be better off as an only pet.
No young children – ideally teens and over as he can be very bolshy and in your face like a typical bully!
Biscuit is a very friendly and happy go lucky kind of boy! He adores spending time with his carers having a fuss or going on adventures! We just need to get to know him a little more in a home so we can get him exactly what he needs as here in kennels he is getting quite overwhelmed and frustrated.
If you think you could help this amazing chap, with a retirement home, then please send us an email to customerservices@rspcasheffield.org.
I need training how to sit nicely (and then i can master the rest)

This handsome fella is Coco, and he is finally ready to find his forever home. He came to us along with several other cats – very poorly and suffering from an horrific calici virus flare up – and needing an urgent dental to make him comfortable. Thankfully – he is now feeling so much better and happier now he’s had medical care, time, rest and has been signed off by our vet as being ready to find his new forever home!
Coco is a super friendly and confident boy and has been from the day he arrived – even when he felt rubbish-he never let it get him down. He is so fun to be around! He adores human company and loves to have lots of fusses and cuddles with everyone he meets! He isn’t that playful at the minute, but we are slowly teaching him that toys and interactive games – can be fun and a good way to channel his energy – in a positive way. His love for human contact can sometimes make him a little overstimulated and he can forget he has claws at times – but we know he’s not been mean he just doesn’t realise.
We are looking for an indoor home where there are no other cats. As he is a flu carrier, it’s very likely he will have flu flare ups from time to time, so it is very important that her new family have either experienced owning a flu cat or have done research into what this entails. They can live a happy and normal life but additional stresses like changes in routine, changes in the home etc could cause him to have a flare and need vet support. He will also need monitoring at his yearly vet checks for vaccinations with the adopters’ vets.
We think he could live with children of secondary school age and over as long as everyone is comfortable, and any children can understand him especially when he gets a little over stimulated and needs a minute.
To apply for coco please send a completed application form to customerservices@rspcasheffield.org – we can’t process your form without!
I would prefer not to live with a dog

Now this little pocket rocket is our Tommy boy! This beautiful little staffy is on the look out for an understanding and supportive family.
Tommy is a delight to be around but he doesn't come without a few quirks! This boy is true to the staffies and a little chatterbox and has such a beautiful staffy smile! He is looking for owners that are used to staffies and that can take their time getting to know him properly so they can understand him and his personality. Tommy loves a little walk and to be with his people but it doesn't have to be on your knee or loving you - he can sometimes prefer just to be around you and doing his own thing. Tommy does have some fixation behaviours around certain toys so it's really important that his new family are happy to support him with this and manage what toys he has and when - we can go into more detail about this with any potential families. He can also be quite vocal when out and about and around other dogs so we need new humans that are happy to adapt to walking in quieter times until Tommy settles as this is something that has gotten worse while being in the kennel environment.
Tommy has osteoarthritis in his stifles and although he doesn't let this stop him or slow him down his new adopters would need to understand this and that he will now be on pain management medication for the rest of his life to ensure he is comfortable, and it could affect him later on down the line more than it does now.
Due to his medical and behaviour needs we think Tommy would be happier in a home with no other animals and adults only. We may consider older teens depending on their dog experience. His new family would also need to commit to coming to see Tommy potentially quite a few times here at our rehoming centre.
Do you have a little spot on your sofa for Tommy? He won't take up much room at all! If so please send us over a completed application form to customerservices@rspcasheffield.org - we can't process your interest without!
Coco - our gorgeous, happy little whirlwind - sadly had to return to us after a breakdown in the home with Coco and the existing dog. This was heartbreaking for the family and Coco -as she was settled and loved so very much but it just wasn't meant to be and the family had to put their pooch first.
So she is back and ready to find her forever home again, where she can be secure in the knowledge that she is safe and loved. This is something she hasn't had much of in the past, before coming into our care originally but she doesn’t let it show too much.
From the beginning Coco has been a big softie, with her goofy face and wiggly butt, she just wants to be everyone’s friend. Typical of her breed she doesn’t know her size or strength and will try to be a lapdog. She is such a clever lady when she is engaged, she just wants to please :) She loves her toys!
When she is out and about, we have introduced Coco to other dogs, and she has made many dog friends while here. She can be both a little independent and just want to do her own thing, or have a game of tag and tumble, which makes her a great walking buddy. Due to the doggy relationship breakdown in the home, Coco is now a little wary of dogs in certain circumstances so although she still has her pals we are looking for a home where she can be the only dog in them home and get all the love and attention she deserves and needs!!
Coco just loves to be with her people and will smother you in affection, but due to her crazy, bully nature - she can be a little lacking on space awareness and accidently barge into you (in a loving way of course!). We think she would be ok to live with dog savvy older children who have experienced excitable dogs, and it will all be meet and greet dependent. She needs a secure garden too - 5ft

Now this gorgeous girl is our Linda. She came to us after her owner could no longer keep her.
Linda is a young and spritely girl who is very active and loves to be into everything! She is very chatty and enjoys the company of people, but this can be very much on her terms. She can be easily spooked or unsure of new places and people, when she is feeling this way, she can be a little sharp and pointy and will need a family that understands this and can spot the signs for when she needs some space and to calm down.
Linda really likes to be with her people and her own space, so we feel a home where she is the only pet is best for her and where any children are secondary school age and over and have had some interactions with cats before to better understand her at times quirky nature.
Could you be her forever family?

Beautiful Brie here was sadly found as a stray and taken to our wonderful local vets who tried to find her owner before, she came to us to start over.
Brie is such a lovely character. She can be a little shy and unsure initially with new people and surroundings, but it takes her no time at all to become friends and enjoy a fuss or two!
She is a chatter box and likes to spend time around and with her cares. She does come for a fuss and a cuddle but is also quite independent and is happy just being with her people. She would make a lovely companion cat for someone who doesn't mind giving her a fuss when she wants one and some space when she wants that! Brie also really enjoys her fishing rod toys too but can get a little overstimulated at times - and give the odd cheeky nibble !!
We think she would be better suited in a home where any children are cat savvy older teens who understand when she wants/needs a little space. Especially when feeling overwhelmed Brie can sometimes get a little sharp and pointy and isn't afraid to tell you off with a hiss and swipe.
Do you have room on your sofa for Miss Brie? To apply please send us over a completed application form to customerservices@rspcasheffield.org - we can't process your interest without!
Now this gorgeous girl is our Darleen. She came to us via the inspectors after she could no longer stay where she was living.
Miss Darleen is such a lovely character. She can be a little shy and unsure initally with new people and surroundings but it takes her no time at all to settle in and then show her true colours!

Dolly is a young and spritely girl who is active and loves to be into everything! She also is a very fussy girl! She is curious and enjoys the company of people but this can be very exciting for her leading to her getting a little overstimulated. When she is feeling this way she can be a little sharp and pointy and will need a family that understands this and can spot the signs for when she needs some space and to calm down.

This special little lad is Lucky, who sadly was abandoned outside our doors, with just a note saying his name! So we have very little information on this boy other than what we have seen of him over the weeks he’s been in our care.
Understandably in the beginning - he was a little overwhelmed - his world had just been turned upside down. However, we got straight to work building his trust and showing him, he was safe and loved. Fast-forward to now and he is such a lovely chap who just wants to be with you.
We found he loves to play - tennis balls are his favourite, loves his din dins and will let you know if you’re running late and most of all he just loves company. Due to his past, he isn't keen on being left - so we are looking for a home where someone will be home most of the day or can slowly build this up for him. His coat will need regular grooming and brushing for upkeep but while with us he has been an angel for this except his feet which are just super ticklish hehe!!
With his super friendly nature we think he will be ok to live with older dog savvy children, but they must be comfortable around, giddy & bouncy dogs (once he settles). We will of course do meets to make sure everyone is comfortable. A dog savvy cat is a maybe too.
While here Lucky has made several dog friends, so again he could possibly live with another dog. It will of course all be pending successful meet and greets.
This boy really is a sweetheart.
Due to outstanding dental work, we are looking for a foster to adopt home for Lucky so we can support him in his new home, which does mean we will be taking distance into consideration when reviewing applications.

Introducing our two gorgeous, little, ladies - Blanche and Doreen. Who are looking for their new home due to no fault of their own.
These ladies are incredibly sweet and have such a lovely bond. So much so we are looking for a home where they can stay together.
Both can have their timid moments and can find life a little overwhelming, at times but we are helping them through this each day by just allowing them to investigate and see the world isn't big and scary. Little Blanche is the more confident of the pair and will often be the first to investigate or say hello, but Doreen is always only a few paws behind. Each have such individual characters, it’s so lovely to see them grow.
Blanche loves her toys and is into everything (typical terrier), however she does have a luxating patella that currently is causing her no issue or concern - she will just need monitoring and may in the future need intermittent pain support but we will discuss this in more detail with anyone interested in adoption.
Doreen is your little snuggle buddy, she loves fusses and food! If you let her, she will happily crawl into your lap for a cuddle and snooze.
Typical of the breed they never stop and are always on the go - they love going on adventures.
We feel given the girls friendly nature we think they will be happy to live with calmer dog savvy older children but may consider younger. A home where they will be the only two dogs would be perfect for them too.
Due to outstanding medical (neutering) we are looking for a home within 2 hours of the centre.

Say hello to our extremely affectionate girl Agatha!
She has been nothing but a delight since she arrived, always so happy to see you, walking into her pen really makes your day. Although at first it may seem Agatha is a shy girl, this doesn’t last long at all and before you know it she is on your lap making biscuits.
Once settled she is a very confident and outgoing cat who loves to be front and centre! She really does just want all the attention and will give very enthusiastic fusses, head bumps and on your lap snuggles! She isn't overly playful, at the moment but is getting more day by day as her personality shines through, but would much rather have any fuss she can get- she really is a human affection kind of gal – so her new family must be willing to provide this for her Hehe 😊
Agatha's perfect home would be where there is someone around for company, and we think she would be happy to live with children of primary school age.
If you could offer our girl her dream home, please send over an application form to customerservices@rspcasheffield.org - we can't process your interest without!

Now this handsome boy is our Pedro He came to us after he couldn't stay where he was.
Pedro is such a sweet and loveable little character, who although initially can be a little shy soon comes around. He is a very playful and cheeky boy, who loves to be with you. Fusses and head bumps are his favourite past time with his people.
Every day we see improvements with him, and so we know he can live happily with the right family. Pedro needs understanding people who realise that if he becomes a little unsure and hides away that it is all a way for him to cope and regulate himself and not out of malice. Ideally a home that has cat experience and can give him that extra space when he requires, would be perfect for him.
We feel Pedro would be ok to live with cat savvy primary school children, other felines and maybe a cat savvy dog too.
If you have the space for our boy, please send us over a completed application form to customerservices@rspcasheffield.org - we can't process your form without
